I. Overview of the Control Unit
This control unit is suitable for the Q series partial rotation electric actuators. It enables on-site and remote operation control of electric valves; displays current valve opening, status, fault information, and feeds back opening information and operating status to the central control room in the form of switch signals and analog signals. The control system allows valve position calibration without opening the cover via the human-machine interface and can set some basic control parameters.
The control unit includes the following components:
1. Waterproof aluminum die-cast housing. The electrical control components are installed inside, which can be connected with the Q series actuator structure to achieve integrated control.
2. Control panel. The control panel is equipped with a 64*128 dot matrix LCD screen and 4 Hall position switches. It can display the actuator's operating status; set the working mode (on-site, remote, stop); perform on-site operations; and enter the configuration state to set system control parameters, etc. The control panel is connected to the main control board via a 6-core cable.
3. Main control board. The main control board is installed inside the control unit, with built-in power circuits and a microprocessor, enabling intelligent control of the electric actuator. The main functions of the main control board include: control power processing; analog signal input detection; analog signal output control; switch signal input detection; switch control signal output; communication processing with the panel, etc.
4. Potentiometer or encoder. The potentiometer or single-turn encoder is connected to the actuator's rotating shaft to detect the current valve opening.
5. Motor drive components. With thyristor output, it can directly drive three-phase AC motors below 1KW.
6. Infrared remote control (optional). The display window has an infrared receiving function, and an infrared remote control can be optionally configured for switch operations and parameter settings.
